Jazz ‘Extraordinaries’ for festival

If it’s great music and funky moves you’re after then look no further than The Extraordinaires, who are performing at next month’s City of Derry Jazz and Blues Festival.

Appearing at Da Vinci’s in Derry on Thursday 3rd May at 8.00pm for an evening of dinner and cabaret when The Extraordinaires and special guests, including festival favourites The Jive Aces and host for the evening Frank Galligan, will leave you begging for more as the fast flowing entertainment doesn’t stop for a second! The Extraordinaires stunning Acapella harmonies and breathtaking dance moves have wowed audiences all over the world and have earned them an international reputation as one of the most exciting live bands around.

One of the Festival organisers believes the Extraordinaires will be a high-energy performance.

“The Extraordinaires are a fantastic group and their show never fails to deliver. Anyone lucky enough to catch up with the band during their four dates as part of the festival, will not be disappointed. The Extraordinaires have appeared at many prestigious Rhythm & Blues, Jazz Roots and Rock n Roll Festivals, including Las Vegas USA, Rhythm Riot UK, Cognac Blues, Pori Jazz Finland, Peer R&B Belgium and Hemsby UK. They have also made numerous appearances on National TV in the UK and abroad and in a range of promos.

You can also catch their funky sounds on Sunday 6th May when they take Sandinos by storm. These guys refuse to take it easy during the Jazz Festival and you can be sure of a rip-roaring night’s entertainment wherever they go. The band will also be performing at Pitchers Wine Bar on Friday, 04 and at the Collon Bar on Saturday, 05 May.

The band’s performance at Da Vinci’s will be followed by the Jive Aces. The guys will be dazzling in their trademark yellow suits with a love for style and music that outclasses everything else!
