Legendary DJ, producer, and soundtrack composer, David
Holmes returns to Derry to play for Celtronic at the City
of Derry Jazz Festival. David Holmes is the Iggy Pop of
the decks. Holmes was at the forefront of the dance music s
cene in Ireland when the house and techno boom hit in the
late 1980s. His nightclub Sugar Sweet was the first venue
for serious music in Ireland. His albums, 'This Flim's Crap',
'Let's Slash the Seats', 'Lets Get Killed' and 'Bow Down to The
Exit Sign' have enjoyed commercial and massive critical acclaim.
