The Bleu Note Big Band is Derry’s biggest live band made up of 15-20 players.

The Band is fronted by local recording artist Andrew Monk and is joined by female vocalists, Carol Quigley, Maureen Campbell, Lana Whiteside and Aoife Boyle. The band also has the talented Joe Quigley on guitar and musical director, Jim Whiteside on drums, Rohan Armstrong on bass, Ronan O’Callaghan on piano, Eoin O’Callaghan on strings, Philip Wallace on percussion and eight of our cities finest brass players.

The Bleu Note Big Band cover the Big Band Arrangements of Glen Miller, Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Motown and modern day tunes and only last year headlined the 2011 World Championship Irish Dancing Ball in Dublin’s City West Hotel where they performed their rendition of The River Dance.
